9 Hockey Management client Mathieu Desautels has signed with Hijs Hokij Den Haag of the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2026/27 season.
Schives returns Den Haag, having spent the 2025/26 season playing for club in the Central European Hockey League (CEHL).
Mathieu was one of the top offensive defencemen in the CEHL during 2025/26 with 9 goals and 32 assists in 47 games.
The 31-year-old Canadian will enter his 6 straight season in Europe having previous played in France, Italy and Germany.
