9 Hockey Management client Richard Hartmann has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Leeuwarden Capitals of the Eredivisie.
Hartmann moves to The Netherlands having transitioned into coaching while still playing, becoming player-coach of the Edinburgh Capitals in 2011.
He led the team for four seasons, bringing experience from his long professional career in European ice hockey.
After serving as assistant coach with the Glasgow Clan, Hartmann joined Great Britain’s Under-20 national team coaching staff in 2018.
His coaching career has been marked by a commitment to developing young talent and sharing his extensive knowledge of the game.
